I'm Joshua Schmidt, the person behind dronas. I take photos and videos with a drone for private clients, companies and associations, in the Säuliamt and all over Switzerland.

Why from above

From above you can see how a house sits in its surroundings, how a company site is laid out or how a building site changes over the months. That is the overview I capture, in calm pictures that show what is there.

I have been flying since 2023, today with a DJI Mavic 3 and its Hasselblad camera: 5.1K video and 20-megapixel photos. I am registered as an operator with the FOCA and hold the A1/A3 proof of competency.

dronas is a sole proprietorship. From the first conversation to the delivery of the files you deal with the same person, and you know the price in advance: the price calculator shows you in three minutes what to expect.

When I'm not flying for clients, I take the drone into the mountains. Many of the pictures in the gallery were taken that way, at Lake Sufers, in Val Ferrera and in the Albula valley.

How a job works

Request
Calculate the price online or describe your project in a few sentences. I'll get back to you with questions and an offer.

Planning
I check the airspace and geozones, take care of any permits and set the date to suit the light and the weather.

Flight
On site I fly according to the rules of the FOCA, with a registered drone and liability insurance.

Delivery
Within 10 working days you receive the edited photos and videos digitally, with colour grading, music and the raw footage if you wish.
